Day 7 Rain soaked Poland

Day 7

A
The Polish TV news is dominated with pictures and clips of flooded buildings, roads and rail tracks washed away and rivers that have burst their banks. Our initial thoughts that maybe it just rains a lot in Poland are misguided.... The rain is clearly not of the norm and is a near national disaster

After our night in the hotel we visited Aushwitz and neighbouring Bercenau   - it is as people have described......it is a very grounding experience made very much more so by the Polish tour guide who did not hold back. We were there for much of the day before heading off to a rain drenched campsite in Krakow.
Internet in the Van helped as going outside was madness  - mud...rain...A few Polish beers did the trick before early bed
