Rain was relentless on Wednesday night....as it was for the next few hours as we moved out of Turkey.
Border control exiting was different to coming in....a major motorway route into and out of Turkey and yet arriving at approximately 11:00 am was not the right time......they took our documents, closed the hatch window and in pure 'Paddington Bear' style.....took 'elevenses' .......30 minutes later he opened the hatch, a good queue of cars now behind us, and let us through....our longest journey with 550 Km done but well worth it...
2 days on the beaches....and 3 nights in one spot, out first' long stay'.
Opposite Mount Athos ( 2000 m plus) ,..we built our own......empty beaches and top tavernas.....right time of year to be here...
More cats and Dogs here....... they belong to the campsite and as with all dogs and cats....they just want food and will hang around when IT is around. They go absolutely barking mad when another dog comes near but most of the time are content watching us eat........I still want to shoot them....
